Google Ads Keyword Wrapper & List Cleaner

Free marketing tools / Cordell Digital

Clean the list. Choose the match type.

Paste keywords or import a CSV column. Remove repeated entries, tidy spacing, and create broad, phrase or exact-match lists. Combine services with locations when you need a starting list for local campaigns.

Your inputs

UTF-8, comma-separated CSV, up to 2 MiB and 10,000 data rows. Choose the column, then import it. Import replaces the pasted list.

Prepare a list without adding wrappers twice

Use one keyword per line. The cleaner removes matching outer square brackets or quotation marks, trims leading and trailing whitespace, and collapses repeated spaces. Duplicate removal ignores case and retains the first spelling unless you choose lowercase. Empty lines are ignored.

Entries containing unmatched brackets, embedded double quotes or control characters are excluded and listed for review. Other punctuation is preserved. This is a list formatter, not a full Google Ads eligibility or policy check.

Broad, phrase and exact match

Broad output has no wrapper, phrase output uses double quotes, and exact output uses square brackets. Exact match can match searches with the same meaning or intent; it does not promise a literal word-for-word query. See Google’s match-type guidance.

All three formats are offered for preparation and comparison. That does not mean you should add every variant to a campaign. This tool prepares positive keywords; it does not generate or manage negative keywords.

Import a CSV or build location combinations

Select a UTF-8, comma-separated CSV, confirm whether it has a header, choose its keyword column, then select Import selected column. Other columns are ignored. The file stays in your browser. XLSX and tab-separated files must be exported as comma-separated CSV first.

Combine mode pairs every service with every location, in the order you choose. Up to 10,000 input keywords or service-location pairs are supported, producing up to 30,000 lines with all three formats. Review relevance and search demand before advertising; combinations are not keyword research.

Copy or download the result

The text output contains the wrapped keywords. The CSV contains Keyword, Match type and Formatted keyword columns for review or mapping into another system; it is not a complete campaign import. Cells beginning with spreadsheet formula prefixes receive a leading apostrophe in CSV exports for safer opening in spreadsheets. Plain text preserves the keyword.

No campaign changes are made. No search volume, cost-per-click or ranking claims are generated.

This tool processes your inputs in your browser. It does not upload them or keep a server-side input history.
