The name comes from cordelle, an Old French word for a small rope. The surname originally belonged to ropemakers.
A rope is unglamorous and completely essential. It is the thing between a load and the ground. Nobody talks about it until it fails.
That is most marketing. Done well, it is the quiet line connecting a business to the people already looking for it. Done badly, everything drops.
So that is what we build. Not a campaign that spikes for a month, but a set of things that keep working when nobody is watching them: a site that loads, a Google profile that is accurate, ads that are switched off when they stop paying.
