This checklist covers common content, usability, technical and handover checks. It is a starting point for a business website, not certification that a site is secure, accessible or legally compliant.
Mark a check Done only after testing the real site. Not applicable removes it from the progress denominator. The copy and CSV exports include unfinished items so they remain visible during handover.
Save only when you want to
Progress stays in the current page unless you select Save progress locally. Local saving uses this browser on this device; clearing site data removes it. Reset checklist clears this tool’s saved progress and starts a fresh list.
Use W3C’s accessibility quick checks alongside a deeper review where the project requires one.
